We’re looking for a co-writer to turn raw advice from game development experts and turn them into high-quality long-form written content to join our team.

  • A strong communicator:
    • Can clearly articulate your feedback with subject matter experts
    • Can actively listen to feedback (don’t have to repeat the same back but do nothing)
  • Practice using tools to improve your content creation efficiency: Grammarly, any generative Ai tool, Ai content checkers, SurferSEO/Clearscope/etc

CAVEATE: We embrace the use of any technology used to create content. However, we do not tolerate crappy robotic / cookie-cutter (Ai-sounding) content with little to no human effort. So the balance we’re looking for is the ability to be efficient without sacrificing quality.

  • An avid gamer, who has an interest in how games are made
  • Have some game development background including: any related degree, any game engine experience (Unity, Unreal, Gadot, etc), made tabletop games, modding games, Dungeon Master for DnD, or any other TTMORPGs.

You will be doing the following:

  • Outline topics with SEO practices
  • Take experts’ answers and organize them into easy-to-ready and nuanced visual blog posts
  • Communicate with graphic designers and contributing experts to source missing information and content
  • Write blog posts from scratch
  • Clean up basic spelling and grammar issuesNOTE: We’ll provide any necessary training to adapt to our process

If we’re a good fit, your role can evolve to stable contracts/employment such as:

  • Prioritized writer (Steady and prioritized writing opportunities)
  • Content optimizer (Grammar, SEO, reader experience, conversion optimization)
  • Lead content designer
  • Content manager

Requirements:

  • Have the capacity to create at least 1 publishable long-form blog post per week
  • Location can be anywhere in the world (originally from US/Canada preferred).

How to apply?

  1. Send 3 published blog posts you’ve written with similar format and quality to this, this, this, and thisNote: Your writing sample can be about any other topic, we want evidence that you know how to write like the examples provided above
  2. The spelling/grammar errors in this post (By the way… did I mention there are at least 5 spelling/grammar errors in this post?)
  3. Your per-post, per-word, and per-hour rate
  4. [BONUS] Your gaming and/or game development-related background

Note: If you don’t follow the application instructions, you’ll be auto-ignored.
